Your work is ALWAYS a pleasure to see! Thank you for sharing! I wouldn't say that any of this weeks photos are by any means not pleasing...don't be so hard on yourself! Pictures 4 and 5 from the bottom up are my favorite. I guess I am just a fan of of the super close ups!
Again- awesome photos! I think these are great because they are all really nice compositions and you obviously took the time to think out each shot. I like the dartboard the best- Love your work and I can't wait to see more!
I always upload on the last day haha. No worries there, your images were still fantastic! My favorites are the one of the stairs and the fence. The stairs one I love for two reasons, I love the parallel lines and the hard angles, and I absolutely love how the light is falling on a completely different angle. The fence I love because it is very different from how one normally sees a fence. Chainlink is usually very 2D and you captured a 3D shape that surrounds the viewer in a very abnormal fashion for the content. It looks amazing.
These are absolutely beautiful photographs. You are right in that the framing aspect is weak, but the quality of composition, color, atmosphere, and line, more than make up for the lack of frame.

ReplyDeleteI want to climb those stairs and see what is at the top. The angle you chose was perfect. It seems to beckon you up.
ReplyDeleteLove the John Deere! That is a fantastic photo, love the color, and the contrast between the hard, green metal and the soft greenery around it.
